چکیده
Hot springs are of great importance due to their unique physicochemical properties. Due selection pressure in this habitat, a diverse microbial community is prevailing and can be analyzed by high throughput sequencing technology. Present study focuses on metagenomic two hot from Gujarat, India namely Tuwa Unnai through both, culturable culture independent approach. Sequence analysis both the water reservoirs depicted higher species richness diversity based various indices. The structure at was distinct dependent factors like temperature, pH, mineral content etc. Enrichment cultivation before metagenome revealed abundance Firmicutes (up 96%) representing cultivable organisms hotsprings. bacterial phyla Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Thermotogae, Deinococcus-Thermus, Chloroflexi dominate thermoalkaline spring different proportion. Economically important microorganisms belonging genera Thermus, Brevibacillus, Anoxybacillus, Bacillus, Pseudomonas, Geobacillus were prevalent springs. functional potential KEGG pathways for metabolism carbohydrates, amino acids, vitamins, cofactors xenobiotics. Annotation with Carbohydrate Active EnZymes (CAZy) presence four major classes enzymes: glycosyl transferase, glycoside hydrolase, polysaccharide lyase carbohydrate-binding modules. provides insight into untapped biotechnological environmental applications.

Metagenomics and Microbial Communities
Metagenomics is the genomic analysis of microbial communities. This new science provides access to organisms that are recalcitrant to culturing, as are the vastmajority of microorganismsonEarth.Metagenomics therebyoffers a first peek at thewide varietyof life that has never been studied, thus providing new insight into the structure and function of ecosystems as diverse as the oceans and the hu...

This study describes microbial diversity in four tropical hot springs representing moderately thermophilic environments (temperature range: 40-58°C; pH: 7.2-7.4) with discrete geochemistry. Metagenome sequence data showed a dominance of Bacteria over Archaea; the most abundant phyla were Chloroflexi and Proteobacteria, although other phyla were also present, such as Acetothermia, Nitrospirae, A...

Boiling thermal pools are unique ecosystems to study microbial ecology, biogeochemistry and evolution, because they are physically isolated from other ecosystems, they are relatively biologically simple, and they are among the most hostile environments known. The water column of boiling hot springs represents an extreme environment that has not been previously explored for viruses or microbes. ...

The species complexity of microbial communities and challenges in culturing representative isolates make it difficult to obtain assembled genomes. Here we characterize and compare the metabolic capabilities of terrestrial and marine microbial communities using largely unassembled sequence data obtained by shotgun sequencing DNA isolated from the various environments. Quantitative gene content a...

Uncultured microorganisms comprise the majority of the planet's biological diversity. Microorganisms represent two of the three domains of life and contain vast diversity that is the product of an estimated 3.8 billion years of evolution. In many environments, as many as 99% of the microorganisms cannot be cultured by standard techniques, and the uncultured fraction includes diverse organisms t...
